I’m a big music lover and whether I’m in the kitchen or on the go, there’s always a soundtrack playing in my head. My picks this month feature my music picks at some of my favorite venues around town.
Event Picks
Saturday, Nov 1
Dia de los Muertos @ SF Symphony
I love the timeless elegance of a night out at the symphony, especially during the holidays. The SF Symphony always seems to find a way to bridge classic and creativity together in one space.
Friday, Nov 7
Doechii @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium
I saw Doechi’s performance at Outsidelands Music festival in the Golden Gate Park and she was epic! She’s a true performer and her show was an immersive experience from the high energy choreography to the bold fashion.
Wednesday, Nov 5
Dijon @ The Masonic
I like the Masonic as a music venue when I’m looking for a more intimate concert experience and want to be in the feels of it all. Dijon and the Masonic sound like the perfect combination.
The SF Conservatory of Music is the hub of some of the most talented young artists and musicians around, and with my dear friend Edwin Outwater as music director, I’m always happy to support their incredible work.
Saturday, Nov 22
Khruangbin @ The Regency Ballroom
Khruangbin has a way of bringing vibey, dreamy music into my life. This will be a chill but memorable one.
Venue Picks
This has always been one of my favorite intimate music venues in San Francisco and it takes me back to my early 20s when I first moved to the city. I’ve had a chance to see so many amazing artists come through here and it never loses it’s magic.
Davies symphony hall is one of the most stunning venues in SF! It’s right in the heart of the city and architectually beautiful. I’ve seen some truly unforgettable performances here from Cynthia Erivo to film nights with the SF symphony.
This is another one of favorite intimate venues for music in San Francisco. Over the years it’s held many memories from watching my favorite bands to catching my musician friends take the stage!
